In order to get admission into a fashion institute you need to appear in the entrance exam with proper fashion designing course detail’s knowledge like there are two phases: written exam and a situation test. Written exam involves creative ability test (CAT) GENERAL ABILITY TEST (GAT) AND MANAGERIAL ABILITY TEST (MAT). Situation test involves 3D model making and its written explanation. The 4 years programme trains students to tackle the challenges faced in textile production industry. To become a designer you need to secure admission in a fine institute of designing Like NID (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN). NID conducts an entrance exam in three stages. The first stage to be conquered is DESIGN APTITUDE TEST which is written test of design aptitude as the name suggests. It is held in the month of January. The second one is STUDIO TEST which is held in April and involves 3D model making, sketching test etc. and the final one is the personal interview. Designing has a vast expanse to explore which readily welcomes ambitious and creative youth.
